AutoCut
Hand it a long recording and it finds the parts worth keeping, whether they are funny, tense, or moving, then writes them into a new project in the order they happened.

What it does
- Light mode reads the captions, which is quick and inexpensive.
- Heavy mode also reads the picture, so it catches the moments where nothing is said at all.
- Every clip carries a note about why it was kept, and each one is marked on the timeline.
- The result opens in the editor, so you can carry on cutting.
How it works
- 01 Pick a long video and a mode.
- 02 The tool reads it and chooses the parts worth keeping.
- 03 It writes them into a new project, which opens in the editor.
Questions
- What is the difference between Light and Heavy?
- Light works from the captions alone, so it is quick and it costs less. Heavy also reads the picture, which costs more but catches the moments where nothing is said.
- Can I change what it kept?
- Yes. The result is an ordinary project in the editor, so you can cut, trim, reorder, and export it like anything else.
- How long can the video be?
- Up to the limit shown on the tool page. A longer upload is refused before the run starts rather than failing part way through.
