Clip picker
Hand it a long recording and it finds the parts worth keeping, then cuts each one out as a file of its own. Watch them on the page, keep the ones you want, and take only those.

What it does
- Light mode reads the captions, which is quick and inexpensive. Heavy mode also reads the picture, which catches the moments where nothing is said at all.
- Say what you are looking for if you want a run aimed at something, and every pass reads it. Leave that box empty and it keeps whatever stands out.
- Every clip is cut as its own MP4, with the reason it was kept written beside it.
- Take the ones you want into a new project, or download the selection as a single zip.
- A clip that will not cut is dropped and counted rather than failing the run, and a run where every cut fails comes back with its credits.
How it works
- 01 Upload a video, or paste a link from YouTube, TikTok, X, or Instagram.
- 02 Say what you are looking for, or leave it empty for whatever stands out.
- 03 It reads the video and cuts each pick out as a clip.
- 04 Tick the clips you want, then import them or download them.
Questions
- How is this different from AutoCut?
- The reading is the same one AutoCut does. What differs is the result: AutoCut lays the picks onto a timeline in the editor, and the clip picker cuts them into separate files instead. Take those into a project when you want to, or keep them as they are.
- What is the difference between Light and Heavy?
- Light works from the captions alone, so it is quick and it costs less. Heavy also reads the picture, which costs more but catches the moments where nothing is said.
- Can I ask for particular clips?
- Yes, and the box is optional. It is read by the whole run rather than noted beside it, so asking for the parts that explain pricing aims every pass at that. Left empty, the run looks for whatever stands out.
- Is the video I upload kept?
- A run keeps the video it was cut from, beside its clips, so a clip can be cut again or downloaded later. Deleting the run removes the source and every clip made from it together. The upload is never added to your asset library.
- How long can the video be?
- Up to the limit shown on the tool page. A longer upload is refused before the run starts rather than failing part way through.
