Channel tracker

Paste a channel link and it becomes a card, read again every hour. It stops being a snapshot and becomes a line: what has been gained, how fast, and whether the channel still posts.

Free to start. Every plan unlocks every tool.

What it does

  • Any public channel, added from its link or its @handle. Yours works the same way.
  • Subscribers, total views, uploads, the date of the last upload, and the views on the newest five videos.
  • A line on the card, and a page of its own with subscribers, views and uploads as separate charts over a window you pick.
  • Every channel is read once an hour, on a clock rather than on a page view, so the figures move while you are away.
  • Two readers following the same channel share one record and one reading, so a popular channel is not read twice.
  • A reading that did not carry a figure is kept out of the line rather than drawn as a fall, so a flat stretch means flat rather than unknown.
  • Included with a plan, and it spends no credits. How many channels a plan follows is stated on the plan.

How it works

  1. 01 Open the Research tab and paste a channel link, or type its @handle.
  2. 02 The first reading is on the card straight away.
  3. 03 Come back later, or open the channel page, and the card says what changed since it was added.

Questions

How often do the figures update?
Every tracked channel is read again once an hour, on a clock in the background rather than when a page is opened. A channel two readers follow is read once for both of them, so the cost of a popular channel does not grow with its audience.
How many channels can I follow?
It depends on the plan, and the page shows how many of them you are using. Removing a channel frees the slot straight away.
Why does a figure sometimes show a dash?
Because that reading did not carry it. A count that cannot be stated with confidence comes back empty rather than guessed at, and an empty figure is never drawn as a zero.
