Sound effect finder
Play it, hum it, or drop in a clip, and the tool ranks the sounds in the library by how close they are, with a score beside every match. It searches by sound, not by file name.
Free to start. Every plan unlocks every tool.
What it does
- Searches by what a sound is like rather than what it is called, which is the usual reason a search comes up empty.
- Medium strength is quick. High strength takes the music out of the clip first for a closer match.
- Every match shows a confidence score, so you can see how close it really is.
- The library lives with the app, so a search does not depend on anyone else being up.
How it works
- 01 Upload the clip you want to match.
- 02 Choose how hard the tool should work.
- 03 Listen to the ranked matches and take the one you want.
Questions
- How is this different from searching by name?
- A sound effect is rarely called what you would describe it as. Matching by sound means you can hum it, play a reference, or drop in a clip and still find it.
- What does high strength do?
- It separates the music out of the clip first, then searches with the voice or the effect on its own. That is closer, and it takes longer.
- Does it cost credits?
- Yes. The cost is shown on the tool page, next to the button that spends it, before you run anything.
